Consistently sold rancid steaks. The first two times brought the steaks back, they were in agreement after smelling the steak and gagging. No issue, was provided with a new fresh steak.

The last experience, could not bring the steak back to show them how rancid the meat was for I bought it and traveled an hour away for a gathering. I refused to put the rancid meat in my car.

The 2 owners showed up to the shop to discuss with me and I told them the situation and advised that this issue has been happening regularly but I continue to come back to provision and that when the meat is fresh it is good. I was told to never come back.

I can say this is the worst customer experience I ever encountered and can assure they regularly sell rancid rotten meat and don’t care. Stay away from this place and everyone can get better cuts of meat and service at Publix.

Ian and Marty are top-notch guys that genuinely enjoy serving their customers, which is rare today (no pun intended). The dry-aged steaks are just as nice. On one particular trip, they had an aged piece of ribeye that was not for sale. Not many are seeking a 100+-day aged cut of beef. I grabbed it, and also picked up 30-day and 60-day cuts, both ribeyes.

The 30-day was delicious, but not as tuned as 60-day. The 60-day was the best balance of nutty and blue cheese, but you really need to enjoy the dry-aged flavors to appreciate this cut. The 100+-day was super funky but a sensation for the taste buds. While enjoyable, I would only recommend it in small doses. I have attached pics of the 60-day and 100+-day, pre- and post-trimming . If you enjoy dry-aged, I highly recommend trying it, if only for the experience.

For those that don't like dry-aged beef, they have plenty of fresh beef and fish options. If I could add one thing to the wish-list, it would be additional pork options. For example, I would love to see freshly stuffed sausage, Benton's bacon, and European salumi.

I just moved around the corner and saw this beautiful big butcher place. So i ran inside since it's always a good time to buy Ribeyes steaks. Well, it's a bit price relatively for all the big chains supermarkets. But it is worth that if you can afford the extra price. We got to ribeye stakes and big beautiful piece of sea bass. The steaks was really goods and taste really great. Customer service was good and they was patient to answer all my questions. The second i entered the place, one of the guy approach me and explain me about everything! They also able to order you anything you want, within a day or two. They are age drying the meat in place and even have a kobe cow from japan! Generally i will recommend that place if you want something good and willing to pay the price for it. Definitely worth that. They also have diff products for grilling and they have sea food, awesome cakes and special cheese!

This place is truly a local gem. It's the type of place you'd expect near Yountville or some other Michelin dense area. Imagine the type of butcher shop that used to exist in the old days but with a modern twist. They serve elevated types of meats including many different cuts of A5 Wagyu. They even have jamón de bellota ready for carving. They offer accompaniments and beers as well as a collection of sauces. Even the seafood selection is impressive. This place will definitely become part of my regular rotation.

High quality meat at reasonable prices! Grilled a pork rack last night from A Cut Above and it was the best I have ever had. And the staff was extremely helpful. I'll be back!

I had a great experience here. I was having a bunch of people over for a party and I needed a bunch of NY Strip to feed everyone, so I met a friend here for lunch to combine two things that day. The staff was super attentive and helpful when reviewing the menu or refilling our drinks. I had the steak and fries special and my friend had a brisket sandwich, and both were reasonably priced and very good.

Lunch concluded, I walked over to the meat counter and worked with the butcher to figure out what would work best and he had an uncut slab of what I needed right in the case. He eyeballed it at 16lbs and was .25lb off. They rang up my 16.25lbs and I circled back to pick up the cut steaks later that day on my way home.

The meat was a huge hit and everyone was thrilled. Highly recommended both for the meat quality and the customer experience - because of that experience, by the end of that day I had already sent 3 other people there for lunch asap.

This store is amazing! Perfect dry aged meats, and i can't stress enough how great and consistent the quality is. Custom cuts. One stop shop for dinner or any other meal. You don't eat meat? No problem. There is plenty of fresh local produce, fish, poultry, soups, cheeses, pastas etc. Even perfect desserts are sold here. With this store eating at home couldn't get better. Highly recommend.

Love this place! Best quality of protein around! Not to mention the hospitality that Chefry and the others give! We no longer purchase protein from other providers. I also have to add in that Stanley is so kind and helpful! Glad to see him at this location! He truly has a passion for his job, the quality of product and people!
