You won't find the quality bulk foods and organic foods at the Food Co-op anywhere else. If you are truly nutrition, taste and health focused, this is the place to go! Becoming a member was the best thing I could do for myself upon moving to Sierra Vista.

Great little store, love the smell of a health food store! Very clean, staff very helpful, great supply, just a little spendy, on certain things, but that is to be expected when you’re looking for alternative products that aren’t straight from the producer. The Sierra Vista Coop is a true gem! The staff is always nice and helpful, and I can find items that I used to drive to Tucson to buy, or buy online. I especially love the nice selection of bulk products, all organic, and the variety of vegan, gluten free ingredients in every isle. They offer food from local farmers and food artisans too! They have a great selection of supplements and body care, some local as well.
I believe in supporting local business whenever I can, instead of large corporations, and the coop is just that: a small cooperative owned by its members, where everyone can shop. What a difference from big box stores!!!

The people were so friendly and helpful! On top of that, for a person who doesn't do dairy or gluten they had a mountain of options and I didn't have to drive far to explore. That's a huge win for me and it makes me a huge fan of this place. I've been a member for a couple of years now and it's a smart savings if you shop regularly. 👏🏾

I was quite disappointed this morning. I had locked my e-trike at the designated bike rack. Next to the bike rack was also the electric co-ops green rack. Then someone from the store asked if it was my bike. I assumed there was the usual interest in what an e-three-wheeler was all about. No, that wasn't it. I was told to move the bike because the store uses that space to keep outdoors its shopping carts. I did express my amazement that was the procedure. Sure, I moved the bike. But what message is being sent to customers about our choice to bike it? Where else were we to lock up our bikes? This entire experience was quite a stunner. In shock I went into the store and bought two items. I won't be back, though.

It's nice to have access to organic and other health items not carried in grocery stores. Even tho I'm a member, it's too expensive to stop there very often. But if I need locally grown produce or organic cheese or bulk grains for a special recipe, I know I can count on t h e co-op.
