Not only do they have the best meat selection I've ever seen, but their employees are wonderful. I probably got asked by 4 different employees if i needed help with anything. At the time, I was just looking, but when it came time to decide what to get, the gentleman behind the counter was enthused to help me. This was also on Christmas Eve while they were fairly busy. Impressive.

Great food! The counter guys were really friendly too. Everyone was really attentive and helpful, I forgot to grab my chips and the cashier reminded me instead of assuming I got fries in the box, that's great if you ask me.

The food is really good, I got the beef tenderloin sandwich, delicious and filling for $17 after tax (it was their most expensive sandwich, but everything's about $13-14k. Came with a pickle spear and a York pattie, nice classic touch. Really good beef, gonna try the steak and cheese next!

As for the stock, looks like a great place to pick up specialty sauces and rubs. I usually make my own, but some of those were tempting. The meat looked exceptional, but I didn't see a lot in the way of large cuts that I'd thrown in the smoker, but I didn't check the coolers on the walls.

All in all great spot, didn't expect it to have a deli counter but I'm very pleasantly surprised about that!

Love this location. They deserve 10 stars. Chelsea was so helpful when I wanted to change my Christmas Order. She answered all of my questions and is so nice. The rest of the staff from the workers behind the counter to the cashier are great! Thank you Butcher's Market for your great service and wide range of choices. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

This is a new business to Lake Boone Trail in Raleigh. It is just what they need. There is a wide selection of products for preparing your selection of fish, chicken, beef and more. Everything was fresh and well presented. They also have a selection of sandwiches. The variety of spices and sauces will give you a selection for many new ways to grill, cook and prepare a meal. I found a burnt ends sauce I will be trying this week.

I was so excited that a Butchers Market was opening literally within walking distance of my residence! Fair enough, startup growing pains happen. I had a few mishaps. Here is the royal "breach of confidence." I purchased pichana; I was told it was "in the back" so the butcher had to go and cut a piece to order. Have a look...close to 50% of it was untrimmed fat. I doubt this would have been presented in the counter. It's unheard of to have that much untrimmed fat. I'm done with this Butchers Market. The Cary location is THE BEST and worth the extra miles to get to. Forget the Lake Boone location. Done.

Walked in for a sandwich with my mom. The staff preparing the sandwiches were so warm and kind. We placed an order and proceeded to wait for them to be made. We noticed a few people were ordering and waiting for their food (no one had paid yet). However for some reason as soon as we ordered our sandwich, the woman at the register didn’t allow us 5 min to even walk the store to see what else we wanted to buy before saying “You ladies can come here to pay for your sandwiches” which almost appeared helpful, until we noticed she only required that of us, no one else had to pay immediately. Unfortunately we were also the only black customers in the store. Won’t be returning, not sure I even want this sandwich anymore. We live in this area and were really excited to try this place. Terrible.

Stopped in here for lunch! I got the turkey provolone and fries. The fries were dropped to order and super fresh, and the sandwich and pickle were all wrapped separately on the box so nothing got soggy. I also love that there’s a York peppermint patty in there for a little sweet treat after. For $15, this was a LOT of food. And really good quality. Everyone was friendly, and I’ll definitely be back! For those that like to cook, there is also a full butchers counter where you can get a bunch of different cuts to prepare at home. Lots of rubs and sauces and toppings too. And a pre prepared cooler section for if you want something that’s easy to just heat up and go for dinner!

Very nice staff but I am afraid my previous visit will be my last. One of the cuts I bought never should have gotten out the door. When I got in the car I smelled something horrible but I thought it was from the outside. When I got home I realized it was one of the steaks. I am very surprised they did not catch it in store. The manager was very nice and offered a refund but I am afraid I have lost all confidence in the store. It is a real shame too because I was so excited to have a specialized butcher shop to buy meat from.
