Hidden gem! Nice selection of cheese and wine in there front store. The restaurant in back. Ambiance was great with expose brick, high ceilings and open kitchen. Food was great too with creative twist to dishes. Glad we found this place. Was there for brunch.

Great little place that I stumbled across while staying near Old Town Pasadena on a business trip. They happen to be doing a Sunday supper. It looked pretty good and that's what I had. Food service and atmosphere were all pretty good. The Sunday supper was Thai themed. The scallop appetizer with Tom kha sauce was amazingly delicious. As was the mango sticky rice dessert; best one I've had in fact. However, the main was duck breasts with what was supposed to have been a green curry sauce on it. The sauce tasted a bit weird to me; nothing like a green curry sauce I've had before. Plus, I did not like the fact that they had the duck pieces placed on top of simply steamed soggy cabbage leaves. So four stars overall for the food. With a bit of tweaking on the main this could have been a five-star meal. (By the way, I grew up in LA, live in Seattle now, and exposed to a lot of great authentic Thai food.)

“Phenomenal” is how I would sum up our experience at Agnes. Totally deserving of their Michelin guide feature. The cornbread and chicken liver eclair isn’t something I’d usually order but I loved it. The beet carpaccio dish was unique and a whole adventure in itself. Then there was the corn panzanella, which was also not something I’d usually order but my partner had a good feeling about it and he was right. So good! In that dish, we just would’ve liked more of the heirloom tomatoes to balance the bread. The main dishes were great too! The service was five star, and they even gave us an anniversary card since we were there celebrating. Can’t wait to go back!

Came here for the first time last week and was pleasantly surprised by the service that the bartender, Jamie, gave me. He listened to the food restrictions I had and gave me the best recommendation based off of my needs. While I was waiting for my food, he was very hospitable by giving me water and allowing me to sit at the bar. Because I was so pleased with his service and kindness, I came back tonight with my friend to order drinks. Jamie went above and beyond again to make sure we had a positive experience and made us delicious drinks!! Evidently, Agnes has wonderful workers, service, and food, so I'm excited to go back!

Came here with a full party and the staff were very accommodating and patient with us. The food was remarkable and perfect for us to share. The server had great recommendations. The cornbread eclairs are unique and bomb. We ordered 2. I did think that the cheese and meat board would be a bit bigger but we had so much other stuff it was all good. Very dog friendly and again wonderful staff.

My fam and I came here for my birthday (brunch) last week. The staff gave me a birthday card and a free cookie! The cocktails and food were amazing. We did family style of the food - cheese board with baguettes, creme brûlée toast, sticky toffee pancakes, fried pickle and cheese curds, pimento cheese omelet, and hot dish. My favorite savory was the hot dish (I love tater tots and melty cheese!) and my favorite sweet dish was the sticky toffee pancakes (so rich but so tasty!). The restaurant is a little on the expensive side, but everything was so delicious and perfect for a special occasion.
