Incredible Coffee & Even Better Hospitality!

I stopped by Baristas and Barristers for an iced mocha latte, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly sweet and so smooth! But what truly made my experience unforgettable was the kindness of the staff. The ladies working there were beyond amazing! When I mentioned that I was in town for a big exam, they went above and beyond by offering me a private tea room to study in.

The cozy atmosphere and their genuine support made me feel right at home. I’ve never felt so welcomed and at ease in a coffee shop before. If you’re looking for great coffee and even better hospitality, this is the place to go! Highly recommend! ☕💛

From an Aussie tourist, this Cafe+ is a must-see for anyone visiting Montgomery. Great coffee, wonderful owners, amazing atmosphere, delicious cinnamon rolls, and such a positive vibe. As a Family owned establishment, momma and auntie make this a special place.

They also have drinks and live music if you want to visit in the evening or peaceful rooms where you can just chill throughout the day.

Highly recommend going here for a truly authentic Southern welcome and friendly experience!

It has been years since I was so impressed with a place that I immediately felt I had to post a glowing review, but Baristas and Bannisters has changed that streak! This is a beautiful, thoughtfully designed coffee shop with art that celebrates history and culture. The owner (I presume she's the owner, anyway, from the pride she takes in her shop) was so very friendly and kind. She struck up conversation with me and when I mentioned I'm on my way back to Maryland from Mobile, she went into "mom mode" and was making sure I know all the solo travel tips to stay safe. She was so caring and makes a killer caramel latte. I love this little shop and will absolutely stop by everytime I'm passing through when I roadtrip. It's clear that community thrives in this coffee shop from how her many regulars treat her and each other, and lord knows we need a strong sense of community these days. Beautful shop, delicious coffee, lovely atmosphere.

Walked in to a gorgeous historic home and immediately felt like family. The two ladies working welcomed and assisted me with open arms. Making sure that my coffee was perfect to my taste and that my belly was not leaving empty. This is the southern hospitality and service with love that I have been missing since leaving a smaller town.

The atmosphere on a not too hot, not too cool, late afternoon, partially shaded outdoor even was fabulous. Nice breeze coming through. Kind and welcoming manager. Stage, comfortable chairs. Fab!

We were in Montgomery for a short vacation and visited this adorable coffee shop. Auntie who took care of us was absolutely amazing. Made us feel like we were at home. The drinks were delicious.

The inside is beautiful. The atmosphere is wonderful - it feels happy and homey. Everyone there is so nice and friendly. I enjoyed chatting about the building and about the business. The coffee is so good! I will be back, and I will recommend it. Loved everything about it!

Their quiche is to die for. Also the ladies that ran it when I went were so sweet and helpful, they really went above and beyond to make us feel right at home.
