I love this little butcher shop. I ordered an Elk Tenderloin for a special Christmas dinner and it was fantastic. The shop owner communicated very clearly with me on price and when to expect my order to be delivered. The meat was so tender I could have cut it with a fork.

They also have a lot of pantry items from local retailers that are fantastic. We tried both the Cream Cheese Potato Soup and Chicken Tamale Soup and both were delicious.

I can't wait to return for more unique items from this adorable shop!

We've been buying Omaha Steaks for the last few years and I decided on a whim let's try a local butcher and compare/see how this works out. I did some research, looked at other meat delivery services, looked at other butchers in the valley, and even though this location is on the other side of the valley for me I really liked their website and the reviews I read.

They have a nice little hook on their website currently (may not last) for 20x 4oz filet mignons for $120, that seemed like a good deal to me. I also picked up some other items while there, wagyu beef patties, chicken breasts, and a couple of their cooler drinks (Orange drink and a Butterscotch Root Beer - both delicious).

They are opening a location in Gilbert, which seems like great timing to me that I found them and were able to give them a shot. They provided information/tips on how to cook, and they talked with my father on information - they were very friendly and professional.

Very clean looking hole-in-the-wall establishment. They have all sorts of things, lots of sauces, herbs, pasta items, popcorn kernels, a variety of pickles, butters/jams/syrups, and of course meats. I will be checking out their Gilbert location once they open in a couple weeks.

This isn't a traditional butcher shop but don't let that stop you from getting meat here. I bought a 10 pack of their ribeyes and they are absolutely some of the best steaks I've had. Going back in a few days to try their filet mignon. And the lady up front is the sweetest human. Absolute gem.

I just found out about this place a few weeks ago and I love it. Just down the road from me and I ordered a chicken, 4 cornish game hens, and 6 flat iron (carrot finished) steaks. AMAZING, all of it. The taste is so different, very flavorful and tender! I am a customer for life. Just knowing your eating something that is good for you and the animals are treated humanely.

Love this place, family owned business. I got myself a Japanese Wagyu ribeye and a New York American wagyu all for under 150.00. They have a decent selection of other meat cuts as well.
I would call this one of the better meat markets in Northern Scottsdale.

Are you passionate about good quality meat? Can you taste the difference of real wagyu and iberico? Are you looking for sauces and condiments that are responsibly made by people who love food? Then, cheat on your normal grocery store and ditch the butcher that you know and love. Block & Apron is worth it. Watch the videos, check out the pictures. You won't be disappointed. I'm salivating thinking about all the meat in my trunk, go now!!!

This butcher shop is my favorite find of recent memory. Everyone there is friendly and knowledgeable. They are always willing to special order just about anything you can think of. Most importantly their prices are good for the type of top shelf meats they carry. If you’re serious about meat do yourself a favor and check them out!
