Can I give 6 stars? This place is so good. The guy running it is amazing. The gumbo was so good. The boudin balls were so good. Do not be afraid to get a half muffuletta, we took half of that half home! We travel the country full-time and love finding places like this. We went twice during the week we were in the area.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Cajun restaurant. I’ve been to the ones in Chelsea and on Valleydale Road when they were open. I was so sad when those locations closed down in 2022 but was over joyed with finding out this location was still open. So thank GOD got that! So, instead of describing why you need to come here, just go and experience it for yourselves because I won’t doubt that they will exceed their food and service expectations because it’s never a fail for our family.

Never again. My Po'Boy had 4 shrimp maybe 5. Fries ok but for what it cost vs what I got was absolutely ridiculous. I understand now why it was so empty during lunch. Happy eating 🥴

Had an excellent lunch here today. The blackened catfish po boy was honestly better than a lot I've had in New Orleans. Seafood Gumbo was really good.

Great atmosphere, good bar and beer selection. Looking forward to returning.

We had the shrimp, gumbo and crawfish. It was seasoned good and the thin fries were crispy, just the way I love them. There was only 1 server and an almost full house and there was no waiting for anything, pretty sure he was the owner. Next time we will try grandmas gumbo and the hamburger poboy. Looking forward to going back.

1/2 alligator sausage and chicken & sausage gumbo was AMAZING. The gator wasn't super spicy by itself and you could get the flavor of the meat. ONE OF THE BEST GUMBOS IVE EVER HAD!!!! oh yeah, the server was super friendly and food was out Pronto. Definitely recommend!!!!

Really enjoyed my lunch here of fried oyster basket and jambalaya! The oysters were cooked perfect, small but delicious! The location is really cool and I noticed the sandwiches looked great at the nearby tables!

Cole Slaw was amazing and great flavor!!

I will definitely be trying them again when I am around this area!

Dropped a load in town here & stopped in to check the place out because they had a lot of great reviews. Let’s just say 10/10 for me, believe the reviews. The food is awesome, hot, fresh, & very flavorful. We ordered the shrimp Po-Boys, gumbo, red beans & rice, & Gumbo. To top it all of the customer service is outstanding. The owner is very nice, welcoming, & all around great guy. If you want some great seafood & that Louisiana taste this is definitely the place to stop. They have TVs & a nice bar as well. We will definitely be back.
