An extraordinary butcher with high quality selections. You can pick up a bone in ribeye or feed the whole family with a cut to order prime rib. Be sure to ask for the Chef's recommendations.

By far, the best butcher shop around. They have a dry aging room, fresh cuts daily, and they even dry age some really interesting cuts of meat. I just picked up some A5 wagyu, honey cured bacon, and short rib burgers. It’s all been fantastic.

I’ve been waiting a long time for a butchers shop like this! Their prices are fair, and the selection was great. The owner said he’d be able to do call-in and customizable orders, too. I definitely found a new favorite.

This is a wonderful butcher shop located in downtown Athens, I’ve lived here since 1974 and never thought I’d see one with so many options of different types of meat and so clean!! The owners are super friendly as are the workers. Athens is lucky to have a shop like this 😍

Great spot! We grabbed some filets & they were delicious when we cooked them up! Definitely recommend & will be back. Nothing better than a fresh steak!

I had a terrible experience at this company. When my husband and I walked in, we were not greeted, and no one offered to help us as we tried to figure out how to purchase meat. My husband spoke to the man, but despite the guy speaking, he never inquired if we needed help. He was busy moving around and working the whole time, avoiding assisting us. We felt unwelcome and decided to leave. As we were leaving, the staff did not acknowledge us, unlike they did with another customer who entered and left before us. I felt like we were not treated well and I will NEVER shop with this company. It felt like they didn't want people of color in the store. They might as well have a sign that no colored is allowed because that is the energy I get from them.

I'm not exactly sure how "CorkShire" operates, but we certainly were not satisfied. I'm not sure what you are trying to prove with your response, but my husband and I actually experienced this and, sir, you are not convincing us. Even after my husband spoke to you, you still did not ask if you could assist; you turned around and continued working. Neither you nor the younger girl in there spoke to us until my husband spoke to you. Just a rule of thumb despite being busy, you should always greet your potential customers when they enter.
