Terrible customer service! I tried calling in advance to order sandwiches, the lady picked up and said “can I put you on hold?” Ten minutes later I’m still on hold, I hung up and tried to call again, received message that line was busy! So I just showed up to order my sandwiches! I stood in front of the deli with 3 men behind the counter slicing deli meats. Not one of them turned around to ask if I needed help! A lady with long dark hair who works there is walking around the store and doesn’t even ask if I or the other 5 people needed help. In the meantime the line in front of the deli counter has grown to 5 people standing and waiting for help! I finally gave up and went to the register line and waited until it was my turn. I asked the girl behind the register where do we place sandwich orders? She responded here at the register! I then let the people waiting at the deli counter know, they had to place their orders at the register! This is a F-Up system! Place signs on the deli counter notifying people where to go to place their orders! Or get a system. Finally after waiting at the deli counter for 15 minutes then at the register for 5 minutes I was able to place my order! Don’t get French fries they are so soggy and mushy they are more like mashed potatoes than French Fries! This store will not last! Great Customer service is the number one priority that small businesses need to provide to their customers so they don’t shop big grocery stores and shop at their businesses! So after 30 minutes I finally received my burgers and fries!

Very nice people. Great food. Sampled a variety of rice balls. I had the italian sandwich and my wife had the Sicilian eggplant sandwich. Very crusty bread and Boars Head deli meats. They also have a small bakery and they sell bread.

I went in yesterday, everyone there was so kind and everything I ordered was so fresh. They didn’t even mind when I went off menu and put together my own sandwich. Highly recommend !!

We have used Cucina Fresca to cater a bunch of are parties and they always go above and beyond! Their food is delicious and all of my guest rave about it. Plus there custom cakes for all occasions come out exactly how I wanted every time. Not only do they look good, but they taste even better! Rich the owner takes so much pride in his Buisness and it truly shows with all the great food he makes. Cucina Fresca will always be my caterer for all of my parties. 5 stars!!

First 80 degree day of 2024 and that means it’s grill season! I decided to stop in and grab a few things to throw on the grill for the night and they did not disappoint! Hot sausage, stuffed peppers, prosciutto bread and steak were all delicious and staff were very nice! Glad I was able to give my money to a small business over going to ShopRite!

Very good sandwiches... the bread is awesome. Overall a solid Italian deli that was needed in this area. Pictured below is the "American Italian". The bread I believe is baked on premises. The semolina there is exceptional as well.

Cucina Fresca recently relocated from about a mile north on Route 9 near the famous dinosaur. Their new location, formerly a bank, has been repurposed to become combination restaurant & deli. I tried their French Dip and it was wonderful. I will be back to try other menu items. I encourage you to support this family owned business across the highway from another Bayville treasure, The Shady Rest.
