It's the largest Persian grocery store I have ever visited in the US. You can find a wide range of cooked and fresh foods and groceries here, with some items being more expensive than others and some cheaper.

Today, Sunday November 10, 2024 I purchased 3 packaged ground beef, a package of chicken legs and a package of chicken breast. I paid $120.38. When i went home and opened the packages of the ground beef the top layer was red and under the top layer was dark and smelled horrible. I called 818-343-7900 to talk to the manager or the owner and I was told no body there. I asked who is in charge and the employee who answered at the meat department said only boss. I told him i want to talk to him. He put me on hold for more than five minutes then told me he is not there and hung up. I stopped going to this market long time ago when i purchased chicken legs that were tefirah meaning the legs were broken. That time i complained to the manager and he said they do not check the legs or anything. I went back today p, tried to see if may be the market has changed but I learned that the ground meat i bought was just pure garbage and the meat was covered by red ground meat to conceal the spoiled garbage ground meat under it. I NEVER go back to this market and if i could rate this market negative i would but there is no negative. It is a shame that the owner of this market tries to sell garbage to people thinking that he can survive in this economy. It is now obvious why no one was there today to buy anything. I do not recommend this kosher market evergreen to anyone who cares about their health and their fanily's health and i will complain to the City of Los Angeles health department to investigate this nonsense selling of garbage to public.

I ordered bbq chicken kebab yesterday.
The lady wears a gloves while preparing the food.
I am not sure that she wears the gloves to protect her hands or for customer safety.
She did BBQ while wearing it and same time pick up the salad from container in ref. with gloves and handling everything else with same gloves.
Is it how to wear a same gloves for whole day.

I bought a Sadaf kosher Litte pickles.
It was spoiled and smelled.

I came back this afternoon to the store and told the owner.
He said he is not taking it back.
Call Sadat.
I told him why I call Sadaf, I bought from you.
He said they leave products here for sale, not his problem.

I said ok, wonderful service

I told him that I am not coming back here anymore

Great selection of kosher foods including lavash and grape leaves. Great produce with interesting variety.

First time here. I enjoyed the variety I usually don't see at regular markets. Especially the Mediterranean salads. The produce was colorful, and I loved the refrigeratored tub of dates. I will be back. Happiness 😊
