Ok, say what you want about government agencies, but our data there just bought a house and I went with her to I quire about taxes and how things worked around there. The assessor and treasurer ladies were extremely helpful, knowledge and personable. You all need to be the example for the lower 48. Keep up the good work!
As a side note, we also had a site visit from the borough assessment folks as our property wasn't assessed right. 1) it would be nice to get a card in the mail or phone call stating you will be in the area X week looking at properties. For those with dogs, it's a reminder to make sure our pups are contained or tied down which keeps everyone safe. 2) Hello and thank you for the nice introduction and being personable and again, explain a few things to my daughter and I. If I had a plate of cookies, I would have offered you one. Both ladies very professional in answering our question and being respectful . It's tough working in the public, but you ladies are a good team.

I was here as the North Pole Borrough representative, and attended the monthly council meeting. The security guard was friendly and I felt welcomed by the council. Other citizens related to me that they also found it to be a welcoming place. Facilities were clean and comfortable.
