A friend and I bought some Christmas dinners to distribute to less fortunate people. These folks were so helpful in helping us put something nice together. Everything was ready right on time and beautifully packaged in quality insulated containers. Everyone there was very helpful and treated us so well. Thanks to the Deli manager and her staff fir all the help. You helped make some people very happy.

My family and I visit the fresh market quite often, my mother in law is obsessed. Great selection, but a bit pricey. But I guess that's what you should expect when you visit a specialty store. Customer service dept. is wonderful and cashiers are always friendly. Especially Hunter and Madeline. Jennifer, one of the higher ups, is also great. I love and highly suggest the chicken salad and the meatloaf bowls!

Morale needs a boost in other areas of the store, though. The deli team members usually seem pretty annoyed and don't want to be bothered. Bad attitudes. I get it, but from a customers perspective? That's not good. Make sure you work on making customers feel seen and valued when you're in production areas. Make sure that the customers don't feel like a burden. Make sure you don't sigh and roll your eyes when a customer walks up and asks for help. I saw it as a customer and an employee. Again, not good.

I VERY VERY briefly worked here and I had the same experience while working there, I couldn't deal with the attitudes I experienced from my coworkers, direct manager and store manager. Everyone seemed lifeless and admitted they didn't want to be there. Were annoyed that they had to train me too. My manager said she didn't like the job and she was only there because she's the one who's qualified. That made a huge first impression on me, so I voluntarily left and found another employer. I just couldn't put myself through that.

I believe if the upper management steps up and takes care of their employees, focuses on morale the same way that they focus on sales, they could really turn this store around and really thrive. That's the only thing holding y'all back. If everyone was more friendly, you would have 5 stars.

Work just a little harder Fresh Market, and take care. I hope this review helps customers and management alike.

This review is for this specific Fresh Market location. I haven't been to a lot of other Fresh Markets so I can't really compare. First the positives: the store is clean and organized, they do a free slice of cake for your birthday if you're signed up for their rewards program, they have a good selection of plants and flowers and seasonal products. Their displays are aesthetically pleasing and well put together/well placed. I also like that I can find organic tortillas at this location, which I struggle to find anywhere else. The prices seem comparable to stores like Publix. Sometimes they have even better deals.

The negatives: they are out of stock on items I specifically buy... a lot. They don't have a huge selection of products even though as large as the store is, you'd think they would carry more. But once you start shopping you see they are actually quite limited on what they carry, most specifically of healthier options. For example, they only have one brand of organic heavy cream and it's almost always out of stock. The other brands always have chemicals in them. When I go to Publix, depending on the location I can find usually two or three brands organic heavy cream so I can compare prices, etc. Speaking of chemicals, I guess it was my fault for assuming but I thought Fresh Market brands would have less chemicals in their products, but I realized they don't. Even a lot of their ready-made meals have junk in them. So that's disappointing. If you eat clean, make sure you read all their labels.
I've had several issues with ordering holiday meals from this location. People giving me conflicting information on payment and pick up, employees not reading the order forms correctly and inputting the wrong information into the system. Which doesn't seem like a big deal but when you call to confirm an order and your order is 5x the cost of what it should be, it can be very frustrating. It's a good thing I called to confirm before I picked up on a large holiday like Thanksgiving. And while most employees I've dealt with have been nice overall, I've also had a few rude encounters with employees acting "bothered" about asking if they may have something in stock or if I have another question, like if they carry something specific I can't seem to find. I'm always very polite but I've noticed sometimes employees just don't want to help the customers anymore. I guess this is an issue everywhere but it's not something you'd expect from a nicer place to shop.
There's also been issues with purchasing items that haven't been priced correctly or priced at all. I just don't seem to have this issue at other grocery stores I shop at. It's disappointing since I was hoping Fresh Market would be a different experience. Overall, I'll still continue to shop here if I need anything specific that I can't find somewhere else. But I won't do the majority of my shopping here.

Stop in today to pick up deli Roasted Chicken Salad. Deli area looked so nasty. Food scattered around glass areas. Salads looked all dried out. Just a stir every once in a while would take care of that. Bought chicken salad, got home and noticed darker pieces in salad. Looked and it was dry, hard pieces of chicken breast. Not ground, just pulled off the top are of an old, dry breast. Empty pans with , leavings in the counter. Just sloppy, nasty work. Plus hard to get someone’s attention to even wait on you in Deli area.

Cashiers and meat department employees are great. Helpful, nice, and friendly.

Expensive groceries, but a unique selection with plenty of goodies. This is probably about the most calming, relaxing, enjoyable grocery store you are likely to encounter. While I wish their layout was like some of the other Fresh Markets out there, I always enjoy coming here.

Do visit if: You don’t mind a higher grocery budget, you want some unique brands and products, looking for a good butcher

Don’t visit if: You want Walmart prices or want all your familiar brands (they will have a few but not all) or want a “Superstore” variety.

My family ordered a large order today and Sheila was so helpful to make sure every detail was covered! We are so appreciative of her thoughtfulness to make sure our order was just right! If you go to the bakery, ask for Sheila!

We have our certain Fresh Market favorite items but it's all good stuff! And we love seeing Nancy she's wonderful.
