My wife and I found this place by accidently being downwind!

We ducked in for a quick lunch and were definitely not disappointed. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful and serve up some very good pulled pork. It's smoky, tender, and delicious, and the helpings are very generous. My wife ordered a sandwich and fries, and I got the loaded baked potato. There was plenty to fill us up for the rest of the day!

We both used the hot barbecue sauce, but there's a mild option along with horseradish-based and mustard-based sauces. And you can see by the menu that they serve a lot more than just pulled pork!

The owner also runs a Hero Fund to provide a discount for Veterans and First Responders, and has a Meals for Love wall to provide prepaid meals for those less fortunate. Please contribute to those if you can.

Had breakfast: excellent food!!! Come hungry!! Hubby had a breakfast burger, which he loved, mine was simple but so great! I love finding a place that serves super good and hot bisquits and gravy. Now we can't wait to try dinner here!

I would often ride the motorcycle up from Phoenix and would stop at another burger joint in Globe, but when I learned about Gila Hogs, I had to check it out. I'm glad I did as I was not disappointed. I had the "Jackson Burger w/fries" which is a double patty (1/2 pound) with burnt ends (brisket) and cheese. The burger was amazingly good. It took only a couple minutes, the fries were crisp and nicely seasoned, the place was clean and bright, the people were friendly. Couldn't ask for anything more. I rarely do reviews, but this relatively new joint (Opened Nov '24) is a real gem in this old mining town. It will be my new go-to place and should be yours as well. We went to Gila Hogs BBQ tonight for the prime rib special. I have to say everything was on point. The prime rib was perfect, the veggie of the day, fresh green bean cooked up with bacon and onions. The baked potato you can't go wrong there, it's perfect with prime rib. We got to meet Anthony too, very cool people there. Service was great, people were great, and we will definitely be back.

Amazing food and friendly service. I have tried the breakfast bacon burro, Rye burger and frys, bacon cheese burger, and the prime rib. All of it was excellent I would recommend a 10/10. Definitely worth the spending locally.

The brisket at Gila Hogs BBQ was melt-in-your-mouth tender, with a perfect smoke ring and a rich, savory bark that really elevated the flavor. Their pulled pork was equally impressive, juicy and flavorful with just the right amount of sauce. The sides, like the creamy mac and cheese and tangy coleslaw, were excellent complements to the meat. While the portions were generous, the real highlight was the friendly service and the authentic smoky aroma that permeated the entire restaurant - a true BBQ experience.

This place is stupid good! If you are looking for tasty food with actual flavor plus value I don’t know why you aren’t here most days! My parents haven’t made it past his ribs, one daughter does nothing but wings and hamburgers and I’ve tried a different combo of things because DAMN! Also if you want a damn good breakfast burro on the weekends he’s available! They are also open 7 days a week! In this town that’s amazing!

I used to go to the truck before the restaurant opened. I really enjoyed the food then. I went to the restaurant twice and was not impressed with the food. The burger was just okay. The brisket was horrible. Sides were horrible. I’ve talked with my family and a couple friends on what they thought of Gila Hogs and they all either said they hated it or it was just okay. I am really confused as to why this place is getting such great reviews. I’m not sure if people in Globe have never had good bbq or if this place is just not consistent. They did have very friendly service when I went which is always a big deal to me. It’s hard to find good customer service these days.
