I have visited this place several times, and they never disappoint. I love the food; it’s always excellent. They made me feel special for my birthday, and I will continue supporting the business. We ordered oxtails and curry chicken with rice, cabbage, and mac n cheese.

The owner was very courteous and provided me with samples of the food prior to placing on order. I adore the self-assurance that he was presenting in regard to the food being delicious. If you like Jamaican food and in that area, you definitely should try this place, and it's reasonably priced. Seasoned to perfection and definitely a good option for a good eat...

Lunch- 2 orders -Oxtails w/rice and peas...add 1 side.
I love the vibes and atmosphere at this location. I experienced nothing but great quality customer service from Michael. This was my first time and I will not be my last 🙂

The atmosphere was very awesome. The people were very friendly and nice even gave us samples to try. They are just awesome people. Nothing bad to say about them even a cook came out and talk to me. The food is extremely delicious. I had a jerk chicken and a friend of mine had to oxtails but the sauce they put on that jerk chicken was fire. 🔥. I am upset though without a chicken wings I wanted some jerk chicken wings and I know that sauce just made it POP the food was so delicious. 🤤 I’m back over here in this direction. Most definitely going to stop it’s worth the trip is worth the time they put a lot of love in the fool and a lot of compassion and I thank them for the delicious food.

My husband and I went to tour a property in Smiths Station, AL and got a little hungry. We love to check out small businesses and promote them in our video if they are good and I must say Mamees kitchen definitely made the cut. We shared an oxtail plate bc we didn’t want to drive around with leftovers. The owner Mike let us try some samples. While everything was amazing, the curry goat was by far my fave! Self care day... dinner was awesome
8/14/2024 back at my favorite Jamaican food restaurant I'm super excited to have lunch/dinner I truly wish this great restaurant would open up a second location in Columbus Georgia that I can easily access my favorite Jamaican spot no worries I'll continue to come to Phoenix City this restaurant is so worth the drive so worth the wait so worth the money so worst it. Keep doing what you do you guys are awesome I promise you I'll never go back to that other place again the food was not good at all from that other place

Mamee's Kitchen is a must!! The food was so tasty and fresh.
I ordered the 2 meat combo: jerk chicken and oxtail with cabbage and plantains (all meals come with rice and beans). I previously wasn't a big fan a jerk, but this chicken was tender with good flavor and just the right amount of heat at the end. Plantains were good and add different flavor to the dish. Everything was delicious. Portion size was generous; i was able to get 2 meals. I drove over from Columbus and it was definitely worth. Will be visiting again!
Bonus: the owner was super nice and friendly 😊
