This has become my favorite restaurant because of the food service and atmosphere. The cheesy wedge potatoes are wonderful and the most different new taste for potatoes. I love their grilled lemon peppered catfish fillet which is my favorite choice when I go there along with the wedged potatoes and sauteed mushrooms. They also have a huge salad bar. There is a lot of 50s memorabilia throughout the restaurant. You check out in front of the 1957 red Chevrolet. Very unique and dining experience

My family and I met there to eat before a very special function. I ordered my steak medium well. It was very rare...to the point that it was only lightly seared on the outside edge (bled all over my plate when I cut into it. After flagging down the waitress, I sent it back. They seared the edge that I'd cut off of it and brought it right back. It was still cold!!! After again finding the waitress, she seemed very unconcerned about the issue but offered to take it back again. I had absolutely zero confidence that it would be any better and we had to leave. She just left. We found her AGAIN and told her I'd like to speak to the manager...thinking that I would get a resolution. She was very unconcerned with the problem and was not offering any kind of acceptable solution so I just said that I did not want to pay for a steak that was inedible. She was very RUDE but finally said that she wouldn't charge for the steak but I would have to pay for the sweet potato (that I ate 2 bites of). Fine!!! I can eat a steak anywhere between medium rare and down but cannot eat raw, cold meat.
She blamed it on being busy....they weren't close to full and we went in at 4 pm! How busy do you think they'd be at that time?Yep, not even close! I'd hate to see what they serve at prime time!
I was very polite with her and have never been treated like the Manager came back at me with. She acted like it was such a inconvenience for her to have to deal with any kind of issue and thought I should wait and let them send that raw meat home with me....even though the rest of my family was finished and we had to leave.
Needless to say, I'll never be back in there again. She lost them at least 6 customers that night. My family couldn't believe how rude she was to me.

Food quality has went way down over the years. Best thing here is the salad bar. Ate here for a date night with my husband and got the pick two, steak and shrimp. The shrimp was so pitiful, it looked like it had been half eaten. I honestly would have been embarrassed to serve that to my customer. The steak was so over cooked that it was hard to swallow despite my request for it being done to a “medium”. If we go back here again, it will only be for the salad bar.

Saturday 1/4/24 was the worst experience i have ever had third time dining here our food took forever when we got the chicken wrap and fries. The fries were stone cold the wrap was a child's size. it was horrible the server went and told them to drop new fries never got them she tried not her fault. It was a horror show very very unorganized place. Then to add insult to injury they were told about the bad food at check out. All i got was the usual excuse and i'm sorry and expected me to pay full price for lousy food. I requested a manger i will not pay for substandard food the manager acted aggravated and seemed put off and gave me a measly under 2.00 refund for food that was nasty. It made me feel like dirt on her shoes. It is unkind to treat people like they are beneath you. If dealing with people and doing the right thing is hard on your perfect self get another job that doesn't include dealing with the public.

Every time I order takeout the fries are always cold !
I just spent $18.53 for two Hamburgers with fries!
You think who’s cooking could at least time it better when making sides like fries!
specially when the restaurant isn't too busy ?
I don’t like spending almost $20 for two hamburgers!
I like too eat Hot Food not Cold Food!
Check your Takeout before you leave!!

We came in on 10/27/24 it was our first time here and we had been reading mixed reviews so we live close by we figured why not try it. We'll I'd have to say when we walked in we immediately got a table and seated. We waited 8 minutes for our server who was very swamped and we understood. She took our drink orders and came back quickly. Got our orders for food and and 45 minutes later after Santa clause came to town our food arrived with a side of icesicles i had hamburger steak as small as a hamburger mushroom and Swiss burger without the bun it was delicious but my okra was so cold i could tell it had been sitting awhile or came off another plate or in the light section. The tea was very good. My wife had. Really cold steak fries and a country fried steak and gravy she liked it. Our server came back to ask how it was and we had her take the cold fries and okra back she was super sweet and accommodating. Came back with both extremely hot and well cooked this time since they were very busy and our service was just great and the counter girls were apologetic and ask us to try again we will definitely go back. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen but the ladies on the floor didn't have anything to do with the back. Really cool place.

The food was great and the service was awesome too! Abby was our waitress and she was friendly and helpful, always there before we knew we needed drinks or napkins, just an all around pleasant person. I had the Appalachian steak and fries a salad and my wife had catfish and fries and a salad too. The Appalachian steak was cooked perfect and the fries were crispy. The salad bar was big with almost anything you could want on a salad! The catfish was cooked crispy and was excellent according to my wife. We really liked this restaurant and we will definitely be back again!

The old cars are amazing. Everyone there is so sweet. The food never disappoint. The salad bar is what I live for. The only complaint is they need more choices. They have most of the basics but they need other meat choices. Even take some basic ones and build on it. I have two meats to choose from cause I am a little picky.lol.. but I think if they wanted they could come up with more options.
