This was a fun shop to poke around in after leaving the Petrified Forest. There are tons of things in there ranging from different types of petrified wood (claiming to be collected from legal sites not within the PF) to fossils to minerals and to even some Native American souvenirs. We felt that lots of stuff in here was overpriced, especially the petrified wood and fossils, but the minerals and Native American souvenirs were decently priced for the most part. We did buy a few small things for future Christmas gifts, and the shop owner was nice. We especially liked the goofy setup outside with the cars trying to haul off giant chunks of petrified wood.

Beautiful museum and gift shop just steps from the entrance of Petrified Forest National Park. The best part is the electrical sites super comfortable with picnic tables at reasonable price.

Rolled in late for a camp spot. Around 7:30/8. The gift shop was closed but there was an attendant on a golf cart available. It’s $25 for electric. No sewer or water. And $10 for WiFi. All in all was good visit. Start at the entrance off 40 and make your way down to the camp ground

Didn't go in but I recommend canon here if you are going to go to the petrified forest. Quiet and lots of options from full hook ups to boondocking.

Really cool shop with a nice parking space for RV's with electrical hookup (for a fee). As a bonus the skies here are the darkest I've ever seen so if you're into stargazing and/or astrophotography this is a great location.

It may say "Museum" on the outside but, it's 99% gift shop. It has typical, high tourist prices. A large sign outside says "Clean restrooms" but, they're always closed. That must be how they stay clean. No pictures are allowed inside. (How do they expect you to text a pic to someone to see if they want you to buy it. Dogs are allowed as long as you carry them.

This place was amazing. Very friendly had so much stuff to look at. Made me never want to go back home which in time I had to, u really enjoyed this place.

We stayed here for a two nights while exploring the Petrified Forrest.
The parking is free but we paid the $10 per night for the electric hookup.
No amenities but a nice place to stop.
