Being vegetarian is always a challenge, but the tomato soup option at this butchers deli was actually delicious. My meat-eating companions all enjoyed their sandwiches although the prices were eye-wateringly high, I thought, and not as big as the price suggested. None of us liked the chips (crisps) much either.

Grabbed the brisket sandwich and fries last trip to Flag and was absolutely blown away with this shop. Super fresh meats, rich and savory flavors, fries were the perfect accompaniment.

Took our order to go, however they do have a small no frills dining area or enjoy at a nearby park. This place is in our top 5 for lunch/dinner in flagstaff.

Easy pickup service, online ordering, food was prepared and packaged on time. Great sauce selection. If you’re considering this shop for your fix, stop looking and pull the trigger.

I would like to give this place a five star rating, but the prices are just too high for what you receive. Having said that, the tastes and meats are incredible. Just know what you are getting for your money.

Stopped in the past weekend during our Downtown Flagstaff trip. I was recommended to go here by a fellow foodie. Being from Phoenix, I have had various sandwich shop meals and Proper Meats ranks amongst the best. I ordered the Pastrami and loved every single bite. Their tomato soup was also excellent, would highly recommend this to any sandwich / quality meats lover!

Nice spacious area to have lunch! Lots of delicious options to eat in and of course all of the great meat to take away.

I had the French dip and it was delicious. The roast beef was so soft and flavoursome. The jus that went along with it was really nice too. I thought the crisps that came with it were a bit overdone.
The grilled cheese sadly wasn’t that great. It didn’t have a sharp/string cheese in it to make it zing and also wasn’t cooked enough so it had a good pull.
The fries were a big enough portion for three people but were perfectly crunchy.

All in all we would definitely come again. The service was super friendly. Lots of street parking around too.

The sandwiches here were excellent. I had a French dip and my husband had a Philly steak. There was so much meat in the sandwich we each had to bring half home. The chips served with the sandwiches were really good too. Very friendly employees. We had to wait a little for a table but by the time our food was ready we had one. You go up and order and they give you a sign for the table and bring the food out. I would definitely go back when we go to Flagstaff. Excellent quality.

The food was surprisingly good, we even bought some burger meat to take home after our lunch.
Pastrami sandwich was incredible, tasty flavor with nice meat, and good bread, fresh pickle.
Cubano sandwich was also good, more balance flavor, I really liked the Cubano. The bread was soft and tasted good with the cheese and ham.
The price was kinda expensive, they are charging LA prices in flagstaff, but you at least get what you pay for.
