I went in two separate occasions. Both times I was looking for a specific cut or
type of meat for different recipes I was making. Unfortunately they didn’t have what I needed either time. The staff was kind and friendly.

I’ve been buying meat ? at Robert’s Butcher in Bayside for over 25 years. I’ve never been disappointed. Steaks (ribeye, skirt steak), veal chops and scallopini, Italian sausages, lamb ribs, pork chops always primo. I’ve tried the empanadas, coleslaw, sliced roast beef and assorted prepared foods and always delicious ?. Excellent service and nice people.

My neighborhood go-to. Always a good experience here. You're getting great quality meats, plus all the artisan market items. I caught them end of day recently, and they actually unlocked so I could grab some steaks... Very cool.

These guys are the best and nicest butchers around. They have a wide selection of meat and the most delicious prepared food. I tried their bone in ribeye steaks, homemade baked clams, mac & cheese, and rack of ribs. Amazing!

Love shopping here. All prepared foods taste home made and haven't been disappointed ever. Today for the first time with perfect directions , best cuts of meat and the house marinade I was able to prepare the most delicious steak dinner. Thank you.

I recently moved to the neighborhood from Brooklyn. I visited a few times just to see what they have. The price were the same or higher, but the quality and selection is mediocre compared to many Italian butchers in other part of New York City. Today I was cooking trippa alla romana, a classic Italan recipe, and realized I needed more tripe so decided to run to the store a few hours before closing. It took a while until an old gentleman finally asked what I wanted. He told me that it was an expensive item and he didn't know if I wanted it, and that he did not want to go to to the deep freezer just for a few bucks. I had no issue with the price because the particular part is at the same price at Keyfood, but I would like to look and select which one before I buy it (what is the point of coming to a butcher?). I was perplexed about their refusal of service and felt embarrassed so I left. I understand it was right before busy holiday but why stay open then? I would rather be told it's pre-order only for the holiday as many butchers do at this time of the year. My Italian husband did not have any trouble getting meat there a day before. They are lazy or racist or both. I am not going there ever again.
