The pork shop is a great place! The selection, the service, and even the prices are excellent. I’m not in this area very often but whenever I am within a few miles of this place I definitely stop and pick something up. They never disappoint. I took a friend of mine here 10 years ago. He had been was quite sick sometime. Before going inside I gave him two $50 bills so he could buy something for their holiday meal. When we went inside, he had the two $50 bills in his pocket. We are checking out some of the samples before making our selection and when he threw his toothpicks and napkin away, he accidentally threw the two $50 bills away. 15 minutes later when he realized that he didn’t have the 50s he didn’t know what happened to them. I went back out to the car to look. I couldn’t find them so I grabbed two more 50s and went inside and told him that I found them. He was very relieved. A few days later, he calls me on the phone and he said you never did find those 50s did you? I laughed and I said no don’t worry about it. Anyways, a fun memory and a fun story. I highly recommend at least stopping in and checking the place out.

So tasty, so gooood! 😋 Delicious meats come out of here! Pictured is the BBQ burrito for $4.50. It packs so much taste in it. The burritos are so huge you can feed a family of 4 off of it, but doesn't leave you hungry.

The place is busy. I tried the pull pork burrito. Taste good. Just to much sauce for me. I’m more of a dry rub. I’ll add my sauce. So if u like sauce than the burritos are for u. well prepared . Jerky was tasty. Just like everything, prices are up these days.. over all Good. Wash it down with a zero and h20… weather hot but breeze and nice. Atmosphere way laid back which is good.

The outside of this store does not do it justice! This store has a large selection of meats, condiments, spices and other foods like tamales. I was visiting so did not shop but my friend bought green chile sausages and said they were very tasty.

This place has a great selection. I have been coming here for years and will continue to do so. We like the Pork Chop Shop for sure. I only give 3 stars because the service is consistently rude. The people working here are consistently not friendly for years now. Today tipped it over the edge when the cashier snatched the cash out of my hand quite aggressively and had a noticeable attitude. I was quite surprised at the way she grabbed the cash from me. It was abrupt and totally unnecessary. Nothing was said or done to provoke that. I almost said something but decided not to. This is not the first time someone from this place has done something unnecessarily rude like this. I was just like whoa.. what? But like I said, Pork Shop offers great food.

Great service, friendly. The meat is fresh and they will cut it just the way you ask. Their burritos are so good .Ready to eat or frozen . Clean facilities.

This review is for one item only. Overall I give them a 4.5 Their Iowa thick cut chops are very disappointing. My 3rd and final try. I've smoked them, grilled them and today sous vide. Cooked to 140 and tough as hell.
