I wanted to like this place and did like the store part. The store is an old school Italian market with a lot of authentic Italian groceries, pastas, sauces, and specialty products. The deli counter is a little light on the deli meats and poultry, but has enough to get by. The store is very small and crowded but has a lot of good Italian products that are hard to find elsewhere. The staff was super nice and welcoming. The problem is the food was not good. I waited awhile in a crowded store where there was not a lot of room to maneuver and an obnoxious buzzer going off every time the door was opened. This is not a place for those who don’t like tight spaces or who suffer panic attacks. The wait and small space are normally part of the charm of an authentic Italian deli. The food failed. The large Italian sausage sandwich was an adequate portion. The sausage and the sauce on it were tasty enough. Neither were anything special. The bread was undercooked, lacked flavor, and soggy and does not compare to the bread served at other Italian delis. The pizza was also below average, had no pizzazz, and there was way too much crust. I might be back for groceries but not food.

Purchased salams for a charcoot board for Friendsgiving! Cool little shop with unique Italian goods. Heard they have terrific affordable sammies - will try next time. One of the clerks there was very friendly and engaged well.

This is my first time here as TID was recommended to me. Walking in you can tell it’s authentic, and offers everything you might be shopping for. I was reminded of a deli back in Chicago — Bari’s on Grand Avenue. I ordered their Italian special (Large $9.85), macaroni salad ($2.00), and a bottle of Dr Pepper. My friend had the Hero ($7.55). The total + debit card fee $1.00 came to $25.45. I’ll have to double check and see that I wasn’t overcharged. The sandwich is very good; having generous slices of salami, and capocollo. They added lettuce and tomatoes, and mozzarella cheese. It’s a big sandwich. They don’t cut it in half… so ask next time to see if they will. The macaroni salad is bland. No flavor as the dressing tasted of mayonnaise, and there wasn’t much of anything as celery, peppers, onions, etc. Just the noodles and taste of mayonnaise. The deli is cramped inside; no room for tables. Seating is available outside, and we had a nice day to sit and have lunch. The biggest issue here is no bathroom. You have to ask and use another business’s bathroom, and thankfully there was one. The coffee shop was closed, and the barbershop said no. If you come here, it’s best that you get your order ‘To Go.’ That is disappointing to see. Only other concern is parking. It can be limited depending on the time of day. The deli is in a strip mall that’s located by a busy intersection. If ever I’m in the area again I may stop in to grab a deli sandwich to go. If that salad was a touch better I would have scored TID higher. P.S. Of the cannolis in the case, the plain is alright. Its casing was a bit soft or soggy. The chocolate is much better.

The deli is a small store filled with pasta noodles, cannoli shells, and several other things you may want to make an authentic Italian feast. I ordered the Special Italian sandwich w/pasta salad. I have never had an Italian sandwich as good as the one I had at Tony's. The meat was juicy, the bread was fluffy, and my stomach was Happy. In addition, the pasta salad was fantastic. No crazy ingredients, just noodles, carrots, broccoli, and some olive oil.Simple, and perfect. Lastly Tony's is reasonably priced. You will not regret coming to Tony's deli.

I have to be honest, this is probably one of the worst sandwiches I have eaten in my entire life. They didn't even out thr ingredients together properly. It looks like a 10 year old threw this together. The lettuce and ingredients are all packed on the bottom after plopping some tuna on the top of it (which isn't even good tasting by the way). It wasn't cheap either. Very disappointed 😞

If youre looking for a truly authentic restaurant, you have come to the right place. Tony's is celebrating their 55 anniversary this year! Quite the achievment and shows how beloved it is in the community. The atmosphere is so cute. Nonpublic restroom FYI. A few small patio tables for dining outside, otherwise take it to go! Now to the review...

We got two sandwiches. Two sides. and 3 cannolis.

Sandwiches: Bread is homemade and 10/10. Meat is thinly shaved and great meat. Cheese and lettuce included. Extras are mustard, mayo, tomato, oil and vinigar. overall it was a 9/10. The bread won big points for me. The sauces were minimal and not overpowering too, more points.

We orderes the Full Hot Turkey and Full Hot Pastrami sandwiches. less than 9 for a full sub can't be beaten.

Large sides of macceroni salad for around $4! The macceroni salad was good, but thin with a mild flavor. If you like think chuncky macceroni salad then its not for you. That being said, I prefer the thinner flavor. 8/10 for me.

And the winner is:Chocolate Cannoli. The cannolis are hand made fresh, shells and all. They are think and creamy and sweet. The vanilla was an 8/10 BUT the chocolate is a solid 10/10. Best Cannoli I have ever eaten. I'll be back to Tony's when I'm in the area.

Awesome deli that makes amazing sandwiches and has a lot of other food I need to try. Special Italian and meatball/sausage subs were both delicious. Both would be ordered again. Homemade meatballs, sauce and sausage were all delicious and sure did make for a tasty meal. Chocolate cannoli's were great. Service was fast and friendly. Excited to come here again.

This is a small Italian grocery store with an amazing deli. I’ve tried the pastrami sub and meatball so far. It does take a while to make the sandwiches but it’s worth the wait. Everything is fresh and the employees put a lot of love into the food. The staff is very friendly as well. My only complaint is that there may be a bit too much bread for the sub, but that’s just personal preference. Easily a 4.8/5.
