I’d never went to a butcher shop before for steaks, so needless to say my first time had some sticker shock. But after I had the steaks here then went to Fry’s to see if it was that much different, it was literally night and day. This is my go-to now, the taste and quality is more than worth the additional price. I haven’t bought a steak from the grocery store in months! The customer service is great when I go in and they’ve always been so helpful. Love this place and love that I always see the same faces when I go in, nothing beats a family-run place.

This is a real butcher shop, they cut quarter cows here. They also sell back, front, half and whole cows here. They cut them into steaks and wrap everything for you.

My favorite steaks from here are the sirloin tips, T bones, chuck eye steaks and flank steak. Skirt steak with marinade is also very good.

Any cut from a cow or pig, most likely they can provide it for you. One of the unique items here, is beef bacon. Since they produce their own bacon, brine and smoke it. They are able to take the belly from the cow, brine and smoke it the same way.

They also have local and small business items here. They carry Mr. Bacon's Bacon. Which is candied bacon, he uses their bacon to make his products. They have simply raw honey with different flavors. Salsa Patron salsa and chips. Dog treats from Kirby's Kitchen, he also uses their beef to make his products. They also have bread from miss Monica and What's in the oven.

This is arguably the greatest Butcher Shop in the history of the world. The Troub family gets their meat from a farm in New Mexico who are free range and grass fed. You can see and taste the difference in the quality. I endorse this butcher shop and I'm a huge fan of their dog food and my dogs approve as well. They offer every possible cut of meat upon request and have a vast selection of organs for those who love cheek and liver. They partner with a number of small businesses inside the shop so you can get fresh baked goods, salsa and honey as well. They even have vegetables from local farmers in the area.

We just discovered Troub's Butcher Shop a few months ago and if I could give this shop more than 5 stars I would! I can't rave enough about them and highly recommend this establishment. The staff is very friendly and the shop is always clean. They sell a variety of quality, freshly butchered meats (beef, pork and chicken) that are dry aged. They even sell spices, deserts, and other fresh items to accompany their meats. My family are huge fans of their brisket burger patties. They cook up to be one of the best burgers we have ever eaten. After having Troub's brisket burgers, I can't ever purchase a beef patty from a regular grocery store chain again.

Troubs is a small shop with everything I am looking for. I wish we had visited sooner. We bought great quality steaks and canoe bone marrow. They also carry an array of seasonings.

The only place to get grass finished beef. They slaughter straight off the pasture and it tastes AMAZING!!!! There’s actually marbling from a grass finished steer! Can’t say enough about how they treated my boy and I.

We reached out and got pricing for a 1/2 steer which was a solid price! I asked if I could come in with my boy and watch them tear it down, which was a pipe dream, and they said come on in!! The entire crew was awesome!!!

It was also nice to get a true 1/2 steer- not cherry picked from the rancher or butcher.

Walked in on December 17, 2024, after traveling 45 minutes to get there. Employee was talking with the only other customer in the store. We were never acknowledged. Waited to order Prime Rib for Christmas dinner. Employee never greeted us, we waited a bit more. Finally left, employee never said a word to us just kept talking to other guy about chickens. Did not appear other customer was buying anything just visiting. Will never return. Went to another butcher shop, greeted immediately, shop had around 12 people in it and they had no issue serving everyone and taking our $250.00 dollars.

Troub's Butcher Shop located next to the Boyer bakery - I bought an assortment of meats today, I could not be happier! I made steaks and chicken when I got home. It's the freshest highest quailty meat I have had! The chicken was delicious, not rubbery like grocery store chicken! Just wanted to share I wish I had come sooner! This is life changing! The customer service is top notch! Chantel took amazing care of us! We also bought honey, tallow, & seasonings. Everything was great! The blacking seasoning was so delicious on the chicken! I will now only buy my meats from them, never again will I buy grocery store meats! They even have BEEF BACON!!! Prices are so affordable, I paid $3.99/lb for grass fed ground beef!!
