I recently visited UMC Family Medicine at Idalou Clinic, and I had a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel comfortable right from the start. My provider, Donna, was exceptionally kind and took the time to listen to all of my concerns, which I truly appreciated. The medical staff was equally wonderful, and I felt well cared for throughout my visit. They even called me back within 48 hours with the results of my blood work and x-ray, and had already called in the necessary medication. The level of care and professionalism was top-notch, and I’m grateful for their quick and thorough treatment plan. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone in the area!

Got in timely. The staff is very friendly, and accommodating. They listened to me, and addressed my problem, ordered antibodies, and told me if I had any further problems not to hesitate to call, and they would get me right back in. We are very fortunate to have this clinic.

Don't understand the negative responses. Donna Brazell has been my PCP for five years now. She gets me in when I need it, even on short notice. She diagnosed serious nerve damage after several other dr's misdiagnosed it, and she and her staff have been nothing but kind and helpful. More doctors need to spend time listening to their patients like they do here. There are 110% worth the short drive out to Idalou from Lubbock!! Still the best!

Waited for 40 minutes in empty lobby. Then we were walked to the back just to be told they don't have the shots we need. We had an appointment for these specific shots. Couldn't of you said that before we waited almost an hour? I read the reviews (Most not good) before hand and took them with a grain of salt before we went. I'm leaning more towards those reviews were highly accurate.

Rude staff! Donna is a liar. I was refused care because the first time I saw her I couldn't go through the battery of tests she wanted to run. Very grateful to know right away what a phony medical clinic this is. Steer clear if you care at all about your health or that of your loved ones.

Highly do not recommend!
Went to see Dr.Donna 2 days in a row for chest pains, fever, migraines chills etc...
I do not have insurance so she didn’t even run any tests without even asking me if I wanted a payment plan. Just assuming I couldn’t pay. She brushed me off and sent me home. Next day even worse breathing couldn’t hardly breath at all! She once again kept brushing me off and saying I just had an anxiety attack. Literally had 2 tell two different nurses and the DR. 3 different times that it was not just anxiety that I literally could not breath! Went to kings gate the 3rd day turns out I have pneumonia in both of my lungs and high liver enzymes. Glad I went to Kingsgate Urgent Care when I did. They saved my life!

Amanda Moore and nurses are very nice only problem is lady up front very lazy,and rude. The office manger hardly ever there and doesn't return no one phone calls. I have called every day for 2 weeks for her to explain something to me. Because of these 2 people brings down the whole clinic. If these 2 people weren't there this place would be awesome and no problems would be there.

Would not recommend, and I would give 0 stars if I could. My sister was visiting from out of town when she began experiencing pain in her mouth and swelling in her cheek. We made her an appointment. She was “treated” by Donna, the NP. I used quotation marks around the word treated because she was not really treated. All Donna did was look in her mouth for a few seconds before telling her she had cellulitis. She prescribed Bactrim and Prednisone. Two days later, my sister’s condition worsened, so we made an emergency dental appointment. Turns out, she had an abscessed tooth and the bone was also infected. The dentist took care of the issue and prescribed different antibiotics. She was told that the Bactrim would not help and was instructed to discontinue the medications previously prescribed by Donna. She paid out of pocket, so not only was her visit with Donna a complete waste of time, but a waste of money as well.
